Overview of the Three Parts of the Speaking Test
The speaking test takes the form of an 11~15 face-to-face interview with an examiner.

It has three parts.

In Part 1, you will be asked questions about daily life matters, such as what you do, where you live, eating, shopping, and so on.'

In Part 2, you will be given a topic about which you will have to speak for one to two minutes without interruption or further questioning by the examiner. Typical topics include experiences, plans, places, people, possessions, and cultural artifacts.

In Part 3, you will be asked questions that extend your Part 2 topic. The examiner's role in this part become less scripted and more natural. You will expected to give thoughtful and well-developed responses on questions that may relate to social trends, moral or legal issues, and government policy.
